Podwójnie doładowana jednostka przy 6000 obr/min rozwija 507 KM, a w zakresie 1700-5000 obr/min oferuje 660 Nm. Wyposażona jest w system odłączania cylindrów (z V8 na V4). Rozpędzenie się do 100 km/h pochłania mniej niż 5 sekund, a prędkość maksymalna sięga 290 km/h. Zasięg auta ma przekraczać 800 km - konretne dane poznamy w przyszłym roku. Premiera V8 pod maską GT i GTC już w styczniu w Detroit.

Pewnie wielu powie, że Bentley bez V8 z 6,75 litrami pod maską to nie Bentley, ale cóż - takie czasy. Jakby nie patrzeć nowe V8 brzmi świetnie, samochód wygląda jeszcze lepiej, może poza tyłem, bo tu jakoś trąci poprzednią epoką, a mniejsze spalanie? Wątpię, aby ktoś, kogo stać na taki samochód tak naprawdę brał V8 dla mniejszego spalania. Nie martwiąc się o stan konta nie widzę najmniejszych powodów dla odmówienia sobie W12.
