Jak podaje Motor Trend już wktótce pojawi się Ariel Atom napędzany... ponad 500-konnym V8 od RS Performance, które już wykorzystano w Caterhamie Seven! Samochód ma ważyć tylko 500 kg (dzięki wykonaniu niektórych części z włókien węglowych), czyli jeszcze mniej niż Caterham (520 kg). Atom V8 wyposażony będzie w 6-stopniową, sekwencyjną skrzynię biegów, system kontroli trakcji oraz system szybkiego startu.
