W reakcji na sankcje nałożone na Rosję w związku z inwazją na Ukrainę ze startów w WEC oraz ELMS całkowicie wycofuje się rosyjskie G-Drive Racing, które startowało w grupie LMP2. W ramach WEC zespół miał wystawić jeden samochód, a w ramach ELMS dwa.
